Tilde vs CrewAI

The short answer

CrewAI is a popular way to build teams of agents that work together. You define roles, tasks and flows in Python, and run them yourself or on CrewAI AMP, its managed platform. Tilde doesn't try to replace that orchestration. It gives agents secure, governed access to your systems and puts them in front of people through channels and voice.

If your main job is designing how several agents collaborate, CrewAI is a strong choice. If you need many authenticated integrations, credentials you don't manage yourself, runtime guardrails and access control across teams, Tilde covers that layer.

CrewAI has one of the largest open-source agent communities, with tens of thousands of GitHub stars and a big base of certified developers. Its crews and flows make it natural to split work across agents with clear roles, and Crew Studio offers a visual way to build them.

CrewAI AMP adds deployments, tracing, a tool repository and SSO, and CrewAI Factory runs the platform in your own Kubernetes cluster. It supports MCP servers and agent-to-agent protocols, and exports traces to many observability tools.

Where Tilde is different

CrewAI helps agents work together. Tilde helps them work safely with everything else: your SaaS tools, your data, your people and your policies.

• Integrations without the plumbing. Create MCP tool servers from our catalog of SaaS providers, proxy an existing MCP server, or forward requests to your own API.
• Credentials you don't have to build. Tilde handles OAuth, API keys and custom authentication, including encryption and rotation.

Using CrewAI and Tilde together

Keep your crews in CrewAI and give them tools through Tilde. CrewAI agents can connect to MCP servers, so a Tilde MCP server gives a crew authenticated access to your integrations, with security middleware and permissions applied on every call.
