# Set up Claude Desktop

> Connect Claude Desktop to the global Tilde MCP server with secure Tilde login.

    In Claude Desktop, go to **Settings**, then click **Connectors**.

    Click **Add custom connector** and paste the Tilde MCP server URL.

    A browser window opens automatically. Sign in to authorize Claude Desktop to access your Tilde account.
